          Overview

The Galveston Housing Authority provides affordable housing to eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.

GHA works diligently to place our families in homes that will best meet their specific needs. Our portfolio includes:

Galveston Housing Authority is sensitive to the needs of family living which leads to the uniqueness of our communities, providing supportive services through our Resident Services Department. Our communities include active resident councils, laundry facilities, playgrounds, washer/dryer connections, after-school programs, and on-site management offices. In addition, we offer a scattered sites Public Housing program, which allows qualified families the opportunity to advance into our Home Ownership program
