Bids and Proposals INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS Invitation To Bid IFB#10-B-008 Qualified construction firms are invited to submit a bid to GRACE Corporation office at 4602 Broadway, Galveston, Texas 77551 before 4:00pm local time, March 30, 2010 for Oaks phase III construction at 45th Street and Ball Street in Galveston, Texas. GHA intends to construct 7 single Family homes in this phase. Envelopes are to be marked "Bid for Oaks Phase III Construction". Bidders will be required to submit a Bid Bond for no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. All bidders are required to meet the requirements of form HUD 5369!, Instruction to Bidders. Bidding Documents for a Firm Fixed Price contract will be available after 8th March, 2010 at the GRACE Office, 4602 Broadway, Galveston, TX 77551 (Contact Larry Owens, Tel. 409-765-0008) and also at Ratnala & Bahl Architects, 11767 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079 (Tel.281-759-6400). A refundable deposit of $100.00 will be required for each bid package. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 4602 Broadway, Galveston, TX 77551 on 16th March, 2010 at 10:00am. The successful bidder will be required to post a Performance, and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount. The bid must be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 90 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
