In a 6 to 1 vote, the Galveston Planning Commission gave approval for the Oaks IV development. Once it is built, The Oaks Phase IV will consist of twenty duplexes providing quality low cost housing for seniors. The Planning Commission’s recommendation will be forwarded to the Galveston City Council for their vote on February 25, 2010.
