Despite the summer heat, families attended the Summer Family Nutrition Program food distribution at Galveston Housing Authority. Each registered DHAP-IKE participant received a 50lb food box that contained can goods, produce, and frozen meat. This event was a collaboration with DHAP-IKE Social Services, The Jesse Tree, and The Houston Food bank.
